FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies are issuing a warning to local business after they seized a slew of counterfeit $100 bills over the weekend.

The Franklin County Sheriff's office says that fake $100 bills have been passing in Apalachicola as well as Eastpoint.

They say some of these bills, which have Chinese writing on the back, were seized over the weekend. 

Deputies are asking that local businesses be extra cautious when accepting $100 bills.
