MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) - In this segment of COCA Connection, we're talking about the 66th Annual Florida Folk Festival.

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park is inviting you to the 66th Annual Florida Folk Festival on the banks of the historic Suwannee River.

The festival is being presented by ASCAO award-winning songwriter, singer, and guitarist Del Suggs.

The three-day festival is a celebration of music, dance, stories, crafts and food that make Florida unique. 

This year’s lineup features notable artists such as House of Cash (John Carter Cash, Ana Cristina Cash and Special Guest Gailanne Amundsen), John McEuen & The String Wizards, Billy Dean, The Prestage Brothers, Frank Thomas, Renesito Avich, Dale Crider, Willie Green Blues Band, Chris Henry and Hardcore Grass, Maharajah Flamenco Trio, T.C. Carr & Bolt of Blue, Del Suggs, Mindy Simmons and Friends, Papaloko & Loray Mistik and more.

The festival will take place along the Suwannee River at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park on May 25 - May 27. 

Gates will open at 8 a.m. during the festival and will stay open until 11 p.m. Opening ceremonies for the festival will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 25.

Advance adult tickets are $25 per day or $50 for the weekend. On the day of, tickets will be $30 per day or $60 for the weekend at the gate.

Children under six years of age will be admitted free of charge. For children between the ages of six and 16, tickets will be $5 for the entire weekend.
