TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- There many be some changes to your city services on this Thanksgiving holiday.
StarMetro will not run on Thanksgiving Thursday, November 27. StarMetro will operate on a Sunday schedule with no night service on Black Friday, November 28.
The Tallahassee-Leon Community Animal Service Center is also closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of the holiday. City Animal Control will be available for emergency situations by calling the Consolidated Dispatch Agency at (850) 606-5800.
And some customers may have garbage and recycling picked up a day later. If you normally have a Thursday pick-up, that's delayed until Friday. Friday pick-up is pushed back to Saturday, November 29.
