TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- There are some changes to city services in Tallahassee during this week of Christmas.
During the holiday week, some customers will have garbage pick-up delayed. Thursday customers will have pick-up on Friday, December 26, and Friday pick-up is pushed back to Saturday.
On Christmas Eve, StarMetro will only operate until 8 p.m. There's no service for Christmas Day. On Friday, StarMetro will operate on a Sunday schedule with no night service.
There are no Dial-A-Ride services on Thursday. All rides for Friday, December 26 must be confirmed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Tallahassee Animal Service Center is closed Thursday and Friday. Animal Control will be available for emergency services during the holiday. They can be contacted through the Consolidated Dispatch Agency at (850) 891-2950.
