ADEL, GA (WTXL) -- The City of Adel is accepting applications for a volunteer firefighter.

Applicants must meet all minimum standards and must successfully complete a physical exam including a drug screen upon offer of employment.
Benefits Include: Inner department training as well as in conjunction with the GA Fire Academy. Training and State Accreditation with the GA Fire Academy, Paid Alarms and Meetings; Workers Compensation, Life Insurance, GA Fireman ʼs Pension, 457 Deferred Pension Plan.
Applications are available in the business office of the City Hall during normal business hours and will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19, 2016.
