TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Local senior students are getting a chance to strut their stuff for charity at the Lord Lawton men's beauty pageant hosted by Chiles High School.

On Pearl Harbor Day, WWII Veteran Eddy Weil visited Chiles to speak to SGA students about the impact of Honor Flight Tallahassee on his life. He was joined by Malcolm Kemp, an organizer of Honor Flight.

From that, organizers say that students decided to bring back Lord Lawton, which had been an early tradition at the school but which had been abandoned.

The pageant will take place at Chiles High School at 7 p.m. Our very own Jade Bulecza will be emceeing the event.

Come show your support for these gentlemen as they compete for the prestigious title of Lord Lawton!

Proceeds benefit Honor Flight Tallahassee, which sends veterans from North Florida and South Georgia to Washington, DC, to the memorials and Arlington Cemetery in May.
