CARRABELLE, FL (WTXL) - Authorities have added charges against a former Carrabelle Police Officer accused of sexual battery and possessing child pornography.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Glenn Darius Hampton May was arrested in December of 2015, charged with sexual battery of a child and four counts of child pornography.
On Friday, the FDLE added a first degree charge of witness tampering.
Law enforcement says May was believed to be coaching the victim during the investigation.
FDLE says witness tampering is punishable with up to life in prison. May is being held in the Wakulla County jail.
