TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A candlelight vigil is planned for fallen Leon County Deputy Christopher Smith.
It's set for Monday, Nov. 24 at 7 p.m. at Dick Howser Baseball Stadium. Parking will be available in all immediate areas of the stadium.
All are welcome, and you're encouraged to bring an American or Patriot Guard Riders flag.
The Shine on Gaines festival and art dedication originally planned for tonight has been postponed. No new day has been announced at this time.
Smith was killed in the line of duty on Saturday in an ambush attack that also killed the suspect.
Smith leaves behind a wife and two kids. He was 47.
