TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- If you feel like you need a little extra help to look your best, there are some medical options out there.
Dermatologist Dr. Angelo Ayar joined us on WTXL Sunrise to talk about some cosmetic treatments currently on the market.
Dr. Ayar says Botox has come a long way. If done correctly, it can get rid of fine lines and wrinkles without having the "frozen face" look.
Dermal Fillers like Juvederm help with the "smile lines" some people notice around their lips. It's a natural serum that helps boost your skin back up to a more even surface. Dr. Ayar says this lasts for about six months, so it's not a scary commitment if you're not thrilled with the results. There are also other options of fillers to achieve a higher cheekbone look.
Finally, there's Kybella, the recently FDA-approved double chin serum. It's made up of ingredients that are naturally found in our body's chemistry. It targets fat cells and gets rid of them. Dr. Ayar recommends two shots of Kybella. Each treatment costs about $800.
