BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - Bainbridge Public Safety is offering a reward for information that can help them solve recent incidents of gunfire in the city.

On May 17 around 12:26 a.m., BPS officers were dispatched to the Wisteria Drive area in response to a report of hearing gunshots.

Officers searched the area but did not see anything that seemed out of the ordinary.

About 20 minutes later, BPS received another call to the same area of Wisteria Drive.

When officers arrived to the scene, they talked with a resident of Wisteria Drive who stated that when she arrived home, she found bullet holes around her back door.

Officers said they found 15 empty shell casings and multiple appliances inside of the home that were covered with bullet holes.

On May 18 around 12:00 a.m., a call was made to BPS with reports of two vehicles speeding down Scott Street.

Officers say the vehicles turned from Scott Street onto Broughton Street and shortly thereafter, a report of gunshots in the area of Broughton and Hall Streets was called in to 911.

Officers believe that both incidents are related, and the parties involved are armed and dangerous with no regard for the safety of the public.

If anyone has information that can assist in identifying those involved, they are asked to call BPS at 229-726-9581.

A reward is being offered by BPS for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter(s).
