BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) - The City of Bainbridge is imposing a city-wide curfew starting at 8 p.m. Sunday night.

According to a post from Bainbridge Public Safety, the curfew begins at beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday night and will last until 7 a.m. Monday morning.

They stress that travelers should not drive after 8 p.m. unless operating an emergency or service vehicle.

BPS says that when wind speeds reach 40 mph sustained, emergency vehicles will be pulled off the road and will be unable to respond to calls.

They say the curfew may be extended if severe weather deems it necessary.
