TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The City of Tallahassee has released the results of an audit that looked into a possible conflict of interest in the city awarding $450,000 in contracts to a firm that employs the brother-in-law of Commissioner Nancy Miller.

The audit found the awarding of work to DPB & Associates for city engineering services did not result in violations of state statutes or city policies.

It also found no evidence that Miller's husband, the underground utilities and public infrastructure assistant general manager, gave special treatment to his brother, part owner and managing engineer for the company.

WTXL reached out to Commissioner Miller and are waiting for a response.
