TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - No injuries are reported following an afternoon fire in Tallahassee.
Firefighters say they responded to a home in the 2500 block of Holton Street around 12:30 p.m., where they found visible smoke coming from one apartment.
They were able to quickly contain it in the room of origin. The fire department estimates damages to be around $2,000.
According to firefighters, one family, who was displaced by the blaze, is being assisted by Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
