TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Sunday afternoon, people rallied outside the historic Capitol in Tallahassee to voice their opposition of police brutality.
Groups including Students for a Democratic Society and the Tallahassee Community Action Network say they want to see more officers held accountable when it comes to police-involved crime.
Activists said they demand justice for all victims and that officers should go to jail for shooting and killing civilians.
Activists also said the implementation of a Civilian Police Accountability Council would hold officers accountable, and help regulate how policing happens in our own communities.
