TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A national restaurant chain is hoping to make a "grand slam" out of an unused Tallahassee building.

Denny's restaurant will soon open their second restaurant in Tallahassee, taking over the former Acapulcos restaurant building located on North Monroe Street at Sharer Road.

The restaurant manager tells WTXL they're currently accepting applications. Anyone interested in applying for a job can stop by the restaurant Monday through Thursday between the hours of 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The manager says they hope to be open by the second or third week of March.
