BOSTON, Ga. - A 76-year-old Boston man is being charged with sexual exploitation of a child, according to the Thomas County Sheriff's Office.
The man, Joseph Stockstill, was arrested on Sunday, Feb. 21.
Officials say Stockstill was arrested after parents told Boston police their children saw inappropriate photos of juveniles at the suspect's residence.
Officials from the Thomas County Sheriff's Office were notified and began investigating early Sunday morning.
Officials say some of the children in the photographs found in Stockstill's home were Boston residents.
The parents and victims depicted in the photos were interviewed by law enforcement. The victims confirmed that Stockstill was the photographer of the inappropriate pictures.
Thomasville police were given permission by Stockstill to search the contents of computer equipment in his home.
Officials say that more photos of Boston children were found on the device.
Stockstill is out of jail on a $10,100 bond.
