TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The "Summer Selling Season" is almost over and we have a few tips for what you can do if you're thinking about selling your home later this year.

We were joined by Realtor Rebekah Rivers who gave us some great tips.

The first tip is to start taking photos now. Homes in the Tallahassee area look great during the summer and you want to capture that greenery while it is here.

Make a virtual tour of your home to put on the internet. Everyone is looking for homes online so make sure what they see is going to make an impact.

When writing a description of your home, make sure to include all of the work you've done. Just because your home is older, it doesn't mean the work you've put into it should go unnoticed.

Don't worry too much about an open house. Again, focus on your home's online presence.

Try and get your home into a price bracket where as many home buyers can see it as possible. Lowering the list price for your home by just a little will allow as many people to look at your home as possible.

Watch "Your Home and Garden" every Monday on WTXL's Sunrise.
