TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - If you start hearing strangers talking in Shakespearean English this weekend there's no need to worry; you haven't really traveled back in time!

Performers at the Southern Shakespeare Festival are hoping you feel like you have though when you watch their performances this weekend.

The Festival runs Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Cascade Park. Every day there will be a performance at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday there will be activities from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m. at the park.

VIDEO: Kevin Carr, the Education Director, and Lanny Thomas, Artistic Director, came on WTXL Midday to talk about the festival.

This year performers will be presenting A Midsummer Night's Dream. The entire festival is free and family friendly.
