TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Our exclusive interview with Steve Wozniak continues as tech reporter Morgan Moore speaks with the Apple co-founder about creating the Fortune 500 company, and what he hopes the future holds for the tech world.

"Our team was really more friends than anything else," said Steve Wozniak.

Two friends, and one computer.

That’s what launched what is now one of the biggest companies in the world, and Apple-co founder Steve Wozniak said it truly was a team effort.

Morgan Moore: "You spoke at little bit about your relationship with Steve Jobs, and as you being the engineer, how important was that team... how important is collaboration for companies and products to succeed?"

Steve Wozniak: "Both of our trades and talents were crucial to what Apple became and where it came from. I never would have done anything technical, anything within a company, without Steve Jobs being a partner.”

Thanks to that first personal computer, Wozniak says there’s no telling what’s next.

Morgan Moore: "What do you think the future holds for the technology field?"

Steve Wozniak: "The industry has changed so hugely because I go back a long time... that was when one person could do little things, buy some parts and hook them up with wires and make something useful. It's very hard to do that now.

"You can't plan on the unplanned. Who planned on Facebook and media becoming such a big part of our life? You don't know in advance when these big hug home runs come, and what's the next one."

For Wozniak, it’s about creating new gadgets that make our everyday lives easier.

"I think getting more personal; letting me work as a human, and not think I’m remembering how to use my device. That should go away more and more. It does go away a little bit with the wearable technology, but I’m not going to be a real booster of wearables," he said.

And when it comes to his career, it’s all about inspiring others.

Morgan Moore: "What's the future hold for you? What are you hoping accomplish with getting out and reaching the community and helping grow those next big ideas?"

Steve Wozniak: "Inspiring young people to believe that they can believe in their own ideas. Encouraging the importance of engineering. Don't just think that business is the end goal... you'll come up with a lot better ideas for products if you are around a couple of technical people.”
