TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - An event this weekend is turning guests purple and it's all for a good cause.

Purple Crazy is an annual event hosted by the Alzheimer's Project. This year the event is being held on Saturday, January 31 at the Moon.

All money raised at the event goes to provide services for those taking care of loved ones with Alzheimer's disease.

There will be a variety of entertainment at the event including music, an auction, and a costume contest. All those in attendance are encouraged to stick with the theme, and wear purple. You will also get to see our very own Chief Meteorologist Casanova Nurse wearing a costume of his own.

The event begins at 7:00pm; tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door. If you would like to learn more about the event you can call 850-386-2778.
