TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Meet our Pet of the Week, Sunshine!
This four-year old came in as a stray in May, and volunteers think she's a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix.
Sunshine is very affectionate with with people, kids and cats. She may be best as an only dog.
Sunshine is in good health and is heartworm negative. She's also already been spayed.

On Friday, the animal shelter is feeling patriotic for the upcoming Fourth of July holiday. It's hosting the "We Want You... To Adopt An Animal" event, and waiving fees on all animals. You can take part Friday, July 3 from 10:30 a.m. until 6 p.m. For more information, click here.
