TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Students may get "blinded with science" this weekend!

FAMU is hosting its second annual STEM day. It's a way to get students interested in pursing careers in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

Dr. Maurice Edington and Dr. Lewis Johnson joined us on Sunrise to tell us about the upcoming event. This year's theme is "FAMU CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," which will involve the use of various "crime scenes" to provide students with hands-on problem solving experience in STEM disciplines.

STEM Day is for students from kindergarten through 12th grade. It's set for Saturday, March 28 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. It's at the Perry Paige Auditorium, and it's free to take part.
