Tropical Storm Sean is quickly losing its identity as it combines with a nearby cold front.

The system has highest sustained winds of 40 mph.  It was moving northeast at a rapid 35 mph late Friday night.

The northeasterly course of movement is expected to continue.  As the storm moves further out to sea this weekend, the system will quickly lose its tropical nature and become a broader areas of extratropical low pressure.  No further advisories are anticipated.

Sean will pose no threat to the local area as it remains well off the Eastern Seaboard.
