TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -Tallahassee Community College hosted an Arbor Day celebration on Friday, complete with a tree planting.

Tim Worrick, a man called the modern-day Johnny Appleseed, spoke at the event. The topics included the importance of trees and protecting the environment.

After Worrick's speech, everyone journeyed outside for a tree planting ceremony. A magnolia tree was planted on the college's campus.
