TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –Florida A&M University (FAMU) National Alumni Association will sponsor FAMU Day at the Capitol Wednesday, February 29 from noon to 2 p.m.

Students, faculty, staff and alumni will join state legislators for an appreciation reception to celebrate FAMU Day on the 22nd floor of the Capitol.

FAMU Day is a recognition of the university’s accomplishments and contributions to the state of Florida. It is also a day for students, administrators, and alumni to meet with legislators and personally thank them for their support of FAMU. During the reception, President James H. Ammons will recognize legislators and friends.
