TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - The Florida A&M University board of trustees is considering a campus-wide "dress standard" to encourage students to dress more appropriately.

FAMU student body president Breyon Love discussed the proposal at a board meeting on Wednesday. Love is the student member of the board.

Love told fellow trustees that the move would not be a mandatory dress code but a set of suggestions that includes not wearing baggy pants and not showing undergarments.

Love said other universities have similar dress standards. The business and pharmacy schools of FAMU already have their own dress codes.
