Deputies: Body found in rural Thomas County area

OCHLOCKNEE, Ga. - A body was found in a rural Thomas County area, according to Thomas County Sheriff's deputies.

The body was found in a rural area, near US Highway 19 and Egg and Butter Road.

The subject appears to be male.

Deputies say the call about the body came in around 2 or 2:30 p.m.

They are investigating the incident.
