BARWICK, Ga. - Investigators are trying to find out what caused a morning house fire in Barwick, Georgia.
At 8:45 Wednesday morning, Thomas County fire and rescue were called out to the house on 1051 West Main Street.
Two people were at the house when they arrived. One woman was taken to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
When firefighters arrived, they say there was smoke and heavy fire in the back of the house.
It took crews a half hour to put out the blaze.
