TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CNN) - Rubio as a running mate?
A new poll shows Senator Marco Rubio is the person most Republicans want to see as their vice presidential nominee.
This -- according to a recent Fairleigh Dickenson University's PublicMind poll.
In the study, the U-S Senator from Florida is mentioned 66 times. Coming in second - presidential candidate Rick Santorum -- mentioned 56 times.
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie had about 47 mentions.
One person who has virtually disappeared from vice-presidential sight -- former presidential candidate Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann.
In December she had about 60 mentions - but only grabbed about 16 in the most recent poll.
About eight-hundred Republicans and independents were questioned from February 6th through the 12th.
The sampling error -- plus or minus three and a half percentage points.
