Leon County EMS to host CPR Saturday 2012

Leon County EMS, in honor of American Heart Month, is hosting CPR Saturday! at Governor's Square Mall, lower level in front of Dillards. The event will take place on Saturday, February 18, 2012 from  11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The event is offered free for ages elementary school to adult. You may come anytime during this time period and paramedics will be on hand to teach you the life-saving skills of CPR, AED use and choking techniques. You may spend 15 minutes of your time or longer - whatever you feel you need.

Sally Davis, Public Education Coordinator with Leon County EMS says, "Too many bystanders don't know or are not comfortable performing CPR. You are the first one to be there when someone suffers a cardiac arrest. Join us and learn these easy but ever so important skills."

This is not a certifying class.
