TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Tallahassee Police Department has arrested a suspect connected with two recent robbery cases.
The first case was on February 7. In this case, the victim said he was walking in the 2000 block of West Pensacola Street when he was approached by a black male, who said he had a gun and demanded his money. The suspect then forced the victim to walk to a nearby ATM and withdrawal money.
In the second case, a delivery driver for Jimmie John’s was making a delivery at 2166 West Pensacola Street. During the delivery, he says was confronted by a black male who implied he had a gun. The victim, who said he feared for his life, turned over all of his food and money.
Both victims provided investigators with a similar description of the suspect.
A patrol Sergeant remembered having contact with a male who matched the suspect’s description and gave this information to investigators.
Police say the suspect, 28-year-old Thadd C Hunter, was identified by the victims. He was subsequently arrested for both robberies.
Hunter is being charged with two counts of robbery with a firearm and one count of kidnapping with a firearm.
