TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - In partnership with the Florida Department of Education and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida First Lady Ann Scott will host students from Buck Lake Elementary and local home school students to celebrate International Literacy Day.

As a part of the celebration, Mrs. Scott will read the book Llama Llama Red Pajama to help students understand the importance of reading.

The event will be held Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. It will take place at Alfred B. Maclay Gardens, located on 3540 Thomasville Road in Tallahassee, FL 32312.
