CRMC to host heart health seminar series

Capital Regional Medical Center is hosting "Helping Hearts Beat Stronger" heart health seminar series during the month of February, 2012. All seminars are free and will take place in the CRMC first floor classroom (free valet parking available).

Heart disease takes more lives than the next five causes of death put together, including all types of cancer. This Valentine's Day, show your heart some love and learn about your risks for heart disease. Capital Regional is offering a series of free seminars on heart health during the month of February, along with free health screenings to help you learn your personal heart disease risk.

The seminars are as follows:

Wednesday, February 15th: "Does Your Heart Skip a Beat?" with Dr. Afolabi Sangosanya

Wednesday, February 22nd: "Women's Heart Health" with Dr. Carey Dellock

Wednesday, February 29th: "Signs and Treatment of Peripheral Artery Disease" with Dr. Niraj Pandit
