Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day 2012
The ARC of Florida and the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council will host Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day 2012 on Wednesday, February 1st from 9:30am to 2:00pm on the 22nd floor of the Florida Capitol.
Organizers say the goal of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day is to bring to the attention of the public and lawmakers the need for funding essential services for Floridians with developmental disabilities, services that are very important to their quality of life.
The event is free and open to those with developmental disabilities, their families and the public.
