Tallahassee Police investigate double homicide

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The children living in the Hartsfield road residence were present during the double homicide that occurred there, according to family members of the deceased.
They also say that funeral arrangements for Jermaine Wendell Siplin and Yamada Sheree Bell are still pending.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Tallahassee Police are releasing new details into a double homicide that happened in the Hartsfield Road Community.
A third victim was injured and is currently receiving medical attention at an appropriate facility. The information about the third victim was not released previously for safety reasons.
The ongoing investigation has led investigators to believe the family is being targeted and for this reason the details of the case are being withheld, allowing the investigators currently working the crimes to develop and work all aspects of the case. The other family members, who were home at the time, were not injured in the incident and are all safe in an undisclosed location.

7:00 pm 10/24/2011: Tallahassee police have identified two people they say are victims of a double homicide.
Officers say the bodies of 31-year-old Jermaine Wendell Siplin and 30-year-old Yamada Sheree Bell were found inside a home on the 2700 block of Veda Street.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they are exploring all leads and possible scenarios.

7:56am 10/24/2011: Tallahassee Police are currently investigating what they are calling suspicious deaths.
Police responded to the 2700 block of Veda Street, just off Hartsfield Road, early Monday morning. Investigators say a neighbor called 911 after hearing a disturbance at the home.
Two homes have been taped off. Several family members have gathered around the home, but are declining to talk. Neighbors tell us there are four children that live in the home, but police will not say what their status is or their whereabouts.
Police aren't releasing any other details. ABC27 has a reporter on the scene.
