Tallahassee Police investigate Walgreens Robbery

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Tallahassee Police Department is looking for the suspect in a late night Walgreens robbery.

The suspect entered the 414 South Magnolia Drive Walgreens store,brandishing a rifle, and demanded cash from the store employees. He then fled in an unknown direction. Customers and employees in the store were not hurt.

TPD investigators are attempting to identify this suspect, a black male wearing a dark T-shirt with a white patch on his sleeve. He also had on long, dark-gray shorts with an emblem over the left front pocket; dark, high-top basketball style shoes with white soles and a black cloth over part of his face.

Community members with information or who recognize the suspect are asked to call TPD at 891-4200 or the Big Bend Crime Stoppers at 574-TIPS. Crime Stoppers does not want your name, just your information and you may be eligible for a cash reward.
