TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Three 16-year-oldsuspects have been arrested for armed robbery, according to the Tallahassee Police Department (TPD).
On the evening of October 25, police say they responded to an armed robbery at 411 Chapel Dr. As officers arrived on scene, the victim reported he was approached by three black males, with one pointing a gun at him saying, “Give me your things!”.
The victim gave the suspects several items and they fled on foot.
While officers were conducting the robbery investigation, additional officers were dispatched to three suspicious subjects in the courtyard of 100 Stadium Drive, who were seen running to a vehicle. This location is close to where the robbery occurred.
A helpful citizen relayed a description of the clothing the subjects were wearing, along with the car they were seen getting into, before leaving the area.
Using the citizen's tip, the officers were able to locate the juvenile's vehicle. They matched the description of both the “suspicious persons” and the robbery suspects.
Additional investigation resulted in the three suspects, Darrel Wyche, Ronnie Johnson, and Travon Carr, being arrested for armed robbery, loitering and prowling.
