A registered sexual predator is behind bars after Leon deputies say he went on the campus of a local high school to meet a student.
Deputies say Tuesday, September 13, 31-year-old Michael Dasinger went on the campus of Lincoln High School to contact a fourteen year old student. During an interview with the student, the Leon County Sheriff's Sexual Offender Unit learned that Dasinger had been sending the student sexually motivated text messages.
According to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, in 2005 Dasinger was found guilty of lewd or lascivious molestation on a child under the age of 12. Still on probation for that crime, Dasinger is not allowed to be on a school campus, nor have contact with children under 18.
Dasinger was arresed at his home on Pullen Rd. and charged with violating the terms of his probation.
