VALDOSTA, Ga. - An argument at Club Legion led to gunfire, and the shooting suspect is still at large.
Officers from the Valdosta Police Department spoke to the victim of the shooting at the South Georgia Medical Center. Ivory Foster, the victim, said that he was involved an the argument at "Club Legion". Everyone involved was told to leave the premises.
Foster then said he went to the Hudson Docket Housing Complex, 807 S. Fry Street, to drop someone off. During that time, a red, Chevrolet Impala pulled up. The person he was arguing with at the club got out of the car and began to beat him with a handgun. Foster says he was defending himself when another person got out of the Impala. The duo began to assault Foster, and then the first person shot him in the back. Foster was grazed in the right shoulder by the bullet. His jaw was also broken.
Foster says that he has seen the suspects before, but he doesn't know their names. He says the suspect was an African-American male, approximately 5’9”, and approximately 280 pounds. He described the other suspect as an African American male, approximately 6’2”, thin build, and approximately 150 pounds. No further information is available at this time.
