TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Leon County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) arrested two people after they were found trying to sell copper stolen from vacant houses.
The LCSO first received an information about two people stealing air conditioners from vacant homes in the Tanglewood Estates neighborhood on Blounstown Highway. A witness was able to give a description of the duo and the green vehicle, an SUV, they were using.
Property Crimes detectives then located and identified Latasha Williams, 28, and Roy Booth, 26, and the SUV. They were trying to sell stolen copper, apparently taken from the air conditioning units.
Williams and Booth were arrested and transported to the Leon County Jail.
