TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Tallahassee was recently one of only 21 communities in the country to be awarded the federal TechHire designation.
This morning on WTXL Sunrise Christine Souders met with CareerSource CEO Jim McShane and Chief of Staff for the mayor Dustin Daniels to discuss what this designation means for Tallahassee.
The TechHire Initiative is a nationwide effort to find and fill tech job demands that grow the nation's technology economy. With that designation comes increased connections to tech companies both regionally and nationally that the city hopes to leverage into growth in the Tallahassee tech sector.
