TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- All week long on Sunrise and Midday, we're showcasing some summer camps in the area with the WTXL Summer Camp Sampler.

The Power-Up Summer Camp is back once again for children from 6 to 14. It's all about enhancing cultural literacy through arts, music and even math. Campers will also explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math), with activities like West African dance and drumming, how HTML coding creates websites, out-of-town field trips, and even put on a production.

Levitticus Roberts and Marion McGee joined us on WTXL Midday for all the information. Click the thumbnail to watch the interview.

The Power-Up Summer Camp is hosted by the John G. Riley Museum, and is at Riley Elementary (1400 Indiana Street) and the Lincoln Neighborhood Center (438 W. Brevard).

It runs June 2 through July 10, but you must register by May 29. - Friday July 10, 2015
