TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A musician, actor and author is bringing her talents to Tallahassee!

Storm Large is part of FSU's Opening Nights Performing Arts Series.

She first came into homes across the country in 2006, as a finalist on the reality competition Rock Star: Supernova.

A few years later, Large went back to her classical roots, debuting with the Oregon symphony in 2010, and returning for sold-out performances every year since.

She's also performed at Carnegie Hall and with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center.

According to her biography, she "continues to perform with the band, touring nationally and internationally. Storm has also sung with Grammy winner k.d. lang, pianist Kirill Gerstein, punk rocker John Doe, singer/songwriter Rufus Wainwright, and rock and roll Hall of Famer George Clinton."

Storm Large is performing Thursday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m. at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall (222 S. Copeland Street).

Tickets are still available, ranging from $15 to $50.
