TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- It might be fall, but that doesn't mean one local group can't already gear up for the spring.
For the first time in years, the upcoming 48th annual Springtime Tallahassee parade will be broadcast live on TV!
The parade kicks off on April 2nd at 10:30 a.m. and you can catch it all on WTXL ABC 27.
Organizers say this celebration is so important to the city, and has an overall economic impact of $9.1 million.
And if you can't wait until the spring, the group's Fall Festival is coming up next month.
Proceeds from the Chicken Pilau dinner will be used to help fund the annual Springtime Tallahassee Parade and Festival.
The Springtime Tallahassee Fall Festival is Sunday, November 15 from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Cascades Park. Tickets are $12 or $5 for kids 12 and under.
