TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Leon County's Adult & Community Education is kicking off a new year.

ACE focuses on GED courses, teaching English and English as a Second Language.

According to ACE, more than nine-percent of adults in Leon County do not have a high school diploma, one in ten households in Leon County have someone who does not speak English, and many students make at least one D or F in a high school class and need a way to retake the class in order to graduate.

The school offers help in all these areas, and registration is open now and all throughout the remainder of the school year.

Earning a high school credit is free. It's $30 for GED and ESOL-English classes.
