BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WTXL) -- An upcoming music festival is giving back to local vets.

229 October Fest is all to benefit Honor Sentinel Inc., a non-profit veterans charity.

The City of Bainbridge has teamed up with organizers to help put it on.

Several bands will be playing throughout the evening. There's also a Free bounce house for kids, food, raffles and contests.

All of the proceeds support Honor Sentinel. The group is also trying to rebuild its veterans center in Bainbridge, which was badly damaged in a Labor Day arson.

The 229 October Fest is Saturday, October 3 from 5 p.m. until midnight. Everything is at the Earl May Boat Basin in Bainbridge. Tickets are $10 for adults; $5 for kids 6-10; and free for children under 5.
