TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Saturday, April 19, 2014, the City of Tallahassee will host the biannual Cash for Trash event. It will run from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Solid Waste Services facility on Municipal Way.
Cash for Trash allows City residential utility customers to bring household trash items that are too large to fit in their 96-gallon garbage container to the Solid Waste Services facility for proper disposal. In return, participants will receive $5 off their utility bill.
