TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - FSU celebrated National Coffee Day Friday by serving samples of Lucky Goat Coffee to promote its new partnership with the cafe.

The coffee is now being offered on campus. University officials say they want students to enjoy local coffee instead of national chains.

They're also excited to bring an FSU alum's business to campus.

"They're a local company, it's an FSU alumni - a lot of FSU alumni run it and a lot of FSU students actually work there," said Chantal Fortin, the sutainability coordinator for Seminole Dining. "So it's an awesome partnership collaboration that we're fostering here."

Garnet and Go Grill and the Grid convenience store began serving a variety of Lucky Goat Coffee products in late June.
